Client Thoughts

“Working with Christina is an empowering and inspiring experience—she is bold, thoughtful and purpose-driven! She asks insightful questions, digs deep and challenges me to step outside my comfort zone to thrive. She helps me reflect on what works, what doesn’t work and how I can curate my own choices and results. Christina has guided me to understand the feeling of freedom—with my mind and body. She is a skilled listener and taps in at the ideal moment to propel change. I highly recommend working with her—and following her on social media to get frequent reminders on this big, bold journey of life”

“I have struggled with body image issues my whole life, and have been the big kid, throughout school and into the military, even though I was active and strong. It got so much worse when I joined the Army, I was part of the “fat boy” program, my food was taken away from me and given to smaller soldiers. I was forced onto fad diets that never worked and made things worse. I was hated by my unit and my instructors…no matter how good I was at  physical fitness or how little I complained.

After the Army, I continued to try fad diet after fad diet. I starved myself in order to lose weight and fit into a society that hated me. It wasn’t until about 2 years ago, when I met Christina Malone and started coaching with her. Christina was not like the body positive coaches I saw on social media; she wasn’t trying to teach me that I had to “just love yourself all the time”. She taught me that it's okay to have bad days, its okay to not feel perfect every day. The key was to have more good days than bad. She armed me with tools that helped me to face the world. Do I like my body everyday…”? No ''. But when I look at it, I don’t always see a fat guy trying to be thin. I see a big, strong, handsome man that has more good days than bad for sure.

It’s not perfect, and still hard to hear mean comments sometimes, but now I feel like I am more confident in who I am now, and I deserve to take up space. I'm proud of the big, handsome, strong, amazing body I get to have.
